Twelve years ago, I became an active participant in the settling of that vast wilderness known as the internet, rather than the silent explorer I had been in the three years prior to that. I jumped into an online fandom community and I haven't looked back since. The problem is that as a nineteen year old I couldn't begin to even comprehend the path that my virtual existence would take me down. Twelve years ago if you had told me that I'd be sitting at a desk holding no less than three monitors, one laptop, one tower, an iPhone, a wacom tablet, and an external hard drive . . .well I wouldn't have believed it to be crazy talk, but I would have had a hard time guessing at the impact technology would have on my life.

And twelve years ago, I wouldn't have guessed that I'd be sitting at this same desk looking into the realities of launching a web comic with the aim towards making it a long term professional operation.

To that end there are fandom things associated with me that I'd rather not have associated with the professional me. So, some house cleaning is in order. However, I don't want to completely delete certain things, as it wouldn't be the me who is still very much a raving fangirl. Thankfully DA allows some anonymity and since I've been signing my fan art with the moniker ~littlekfru since the inception of Step Through, I've created an account to reflect that. If you're missing some of your favorite fan art, chances are it's over there now.
